Your journey starts here.Joining our growing Finance team as an Account, you will act as a critical financial resource to the restaurant operators, while providing support to the Accounting Manager.Salary Range$50,000 – $70,000 / yearResponsibilities
- Prepare and report Weekly Financial Numbers & Period Financial Statements.
- Reconcile central & unit bank accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of inter-company adjustments.
- Reconcile gift card accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts / general ledger accounts.
- Support store management with ad hoc queries.
- Prepare year-end files and assist in preparation of corporate tax returns.
- Assist with the year-end external Financial Statement Audit.
- Prepare government remittances (GST, PST, HST, and Excise Tax).
Requirements
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Enrolment or willing to enroll in the CPA Program.
- 1 – 2 years in an accounting environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Desired prior experience in the hospitality industry.
- This is an office role based out of Vancouver, BC.
