Our Banking client is looking for a Junior Risk Analyst (Bank/Financial Services, Third Party)
Length: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full time employment
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) – minimum 2 days in office
Working Hours: 9 am – 5 pm

Requirements:
ROLE MANDATE:
Associate, Third Party Program Management. Support the Third-Party Risk Management development, management, and execution of strategic initiatives and program enhancements/efficiencies Integration.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Fosters a culture aligned to Bank’s purpose, values and strategy and role models Bank values and behaviours in all that they do
Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion
Regularly connects work to Bank’s purpose, sets inspirational goals, defines clear expected outcomes, and ensures clear accountability for follow through
Creating, maintaining, and updating all program monitoring documentation
Promote awareness of compliance to and storage of all related Changes and the Change Governance documentation
Monitoring the storage of the change related documentation in the approved Book of Record
Advanced knowledge of email communications and follow up required to lines of business
Reporting, as needed, on any issues as requested from management
Understanding of TPRM Directive, ONFR guidelines and other relevant third-party policy requirements
Performs periodic reviews of TPRM process documentation
Provide insights and making recommendations for enhancements Bank’s monitoring process
Regularly connects work to Bank’s purpose, defines clear expected outcomes, and ensures clear accountability for follow through
Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholder
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient MS Office Suite
Collaborator, able to work with cross-functional teams
Two to three years of professional working experience
Strategic and critical thinking
Able to see what needs to be done and act without needing direction (self-sufficient)
Knowledge and understanding for managing programs
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Data driven decision makingNICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
FI/Financial Services experience
Experience within a regulated environment
Influence skills
Able to manage ambiguityINTERVIEW:
1st round virtual interview via MS Teams – 30 to 45 minutes
