And through your work, you’ll build a global network and unlock opportunities that you may not have thought possible with access to great support, vast resources, and an inclusive, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential.Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief of Staff (COS) to support the KDN Chief Operating Officer (COO) in leading operational excellence initiatives. As a key member of the COO’s leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless execution across all operational functions, and manage across a complex portfolio, including ensuring the individual components of the portfolio are integrated and aligned to deliver on desired outcomes. This role is not an administrative role, but one which co-ordinates initiatives and workstreams to support the overall business objectives for KDN. The COS is also responsible for managing the leadership meetings for the COO; this includes driving agenda and management of the meeting and outcomes as well as defining and running key workshops with stakeholders globally. The COO and KDN business require a CoS at a Director level with a breadth of experience in delivering change, driving outcomes and actions in a complex global environment and the capability to build trusted relationships at all levels.Ultimately this role is key to driving and delivering the priorities for the KDN COO that enable him to deliver on KDN strategy which is core to the Collective Strategy 3.0 and the growth agenda for our business. This is a complex mix of operational and transformational responsibilities.How you will make your markStrategic Support:
- Partner with the COO to develop and implement KDN’s operational strategy
- Work with the KDN COO to align on priorities for COO office in conjunction with KDN CEO
- Drive the COO office governance across key programmes and operational deliveryDrive day to day management of COO office activities
- Ensure follow up of key actions against the COO priorities
- Support design and effective execution of working sessions with different stakeholder groups
- Prepare briefing materials and presentations for the COO and other senior executives
- Support coordination with key MF engagement and follow ups
- Support stakeholder management across both internal and external (to KDN)
Operational Excellence:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the COO with other departments and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage the COO’s budget
- Support the COO with people related matters
- Organize and facilitate meetings and events.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Will be required to travel internationally for various meetings and workshops
This is the job for you if you haveExperience/Knowledge
- Solid experience of managing across a complex set of stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Capable of effectively interacting with senior leaders across all functions and other global KPMG member firm leadership stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate workshops to deliver clear outcomes and tangible action plans
- A strong verbal and written communicator
- Ideally some international experience and exposure
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with KPMG’s global strategic priorities and solutions along with global KPMG processes is preferred
- Experience working with and managing global teams on a virtual basis
- Strong project and programme management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education, Certification & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Preferred MBA &/or other certification(s) in a business function
- Significant experience within a Professional Services firm implementing solutions that drive functional transformation enabled by technology accelerators
