KS1 Class TeacherM1 – M6 £30,000 – £41,333 pro rataPart time 0.5 FTETemporary – required from 1st September 2024 until 31st December 2024The head teacher and governors of Bowburn Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, passionate and committed Y1 class teacher to join our welcoming, warm and fast-paced school which our school is currently enjoying.We strive for our children and staff to love being part of our community, ensuring they leave us with fond memories and a firm foundation from which to grow for the rest of their lives.The successful candidate will join our highly skilled and committed Key Stage One team. Applicants should be someone with high expectations who is committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential. They must be able to demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or better.The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate an understanding of how to provide an engaging, imaginative and balanced curriculum

• Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice

• Have exceptional standards and a track record of classroom behaviour management at all times

• Be able to become an effective member of our school team

• Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm whilst working with children

Be effective and experienced in the teaching of phonics

• Have highly effective teaching skills that promote the inclusion of all children

• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
