KS1 Teaching Assistant – SEN support – Camden – North London – September 2024 startWe are currently recruiting for a full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant to join our leading and dedicated team at a primary school in the north London borough of Camden, to support within KS1.If successful, you will join a talented staff, within one of Camden’s leading Primary Schools. You will be tasked with supporting children in KS1 1:1, in small groups as well as provide general classroom support.This is the PERFECT opportunity to develop your current experience, working alongside outstanding teachers as well as external agencies and therapists. If you have your sights set on a career in SEN Teaching, Psychology or Speech and Language Therapy, this is the ideal opportunity to further your career.KS1 Teaching Assistant Applicant Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN – essential
- Ability to handle challenging situations with care
- Degree (ideally), A Level and GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) in English and Maths
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with pupils and adults
JOB DESCRIPTION:Your role as a KS1 Teaching Assistant will include but not be limited to:
- SEN support
- KS1 class
- Supporting in class and in small groups
- Collaborating with Teachers, SENCO and therapists
- Full time role: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Long term role
- £85 – £100 per day
- September 2024 start
