Situated in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside, we are committed to fostering a supportive environment where every child can excel academically, socially, and emotionally.Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning in our Key Stage 2 classrooms, working closely with both teachers and pupils to ensure a positive and enriching educational experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in Key Stage 2.
- Provide targeted support to individual students and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support the management of classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Help create and maintain engaging learning resources and displays.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support teaching and learning activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 is desirable.
- Level 3 or above Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred.
- Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to support colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
