  • Deliver high-quality tutoring in English and Maths for Key Stage 3 students
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons to support students’ learning goals
  • Assess students’ progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
  • Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 levelKnowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic potential

Working Conditions:This role involves working with students in a learners home setting, following a set schedule. The tutor may need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities among students.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
