  • Cover call outs and PTO for other BTs on your team/within the clinic
  • Your schedule may change accordingly
  • Support your supervising BCBA in one or more of the following areas:
  • Provide initial and on-going client-specific training and support to members of your team
  • Deliver positive and constructive feedback to team members regarding administrative, clinical, and professional skill areas
  • Assist with initial and ongoing skill acquisition and behavior assessments and data collection
  • Ensure required documentation of the team is completed accurately, timely, and stored appropriately
  • Actively contribute to team meetings
  • Create and organize instructional and administrative materials
  • Assist the Assistant Behavior Support Specialist in one or more of the following areas:
  • Lead training courses for newly hired Behavior Technicians
  • Prepare and lead group instructional activities with clients across all programs

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Certified as an RBT and actively working with clients for a minimum of 6 months and has been Senior RBT at MAC for at least 3 months.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • First Aid/CPR certification is required
  • Ability to change one’s own behavior as directed by the BCBA
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Be willing to learn and grow as a Behavior Technician
  • Must have availability from 8:00am-6:30pm on weekdays
  • Must be able to work 2 Saturdays/year
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to clinic
  • Must be able to pass a state and FBI background check, state child abuse clearance and drug screen
  • Have knowledge of use of modern technology, i.e. PC, Mac, iPad or other tablets. Training will be provided on the systems used
  • Must maintain RBT credential while working at MAC

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move for 100% of the day
  • Use of hearing, hands and eyes 100% of the workday
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally during the work day
  • Stamina and ability to work all assigned hours
  • Ability to move freely, quickly and frequently from a sitting (on the floor or in a chair) to standing position
