We are a bed based Rehabilitation, Re-enablement and Recovery unit located in Grimsby. Our multi-disciplinary service consists of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Care staff who all work collaboratively to prevent unnecessary and lengthy stays in hospital or admission into long term care, wherever possible.We provide a range of therapies and support to assist people in their recovery and regain their independence, enabling them to return to their own homes safely and with any additional support in place. This could be following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or a significant health event.If you work well as part of a team and are motivated, we would welcome your application.Please note that Care Plus Group are not currently registered to sponsor applicants from outside the EU and EEA.Main duties of the jobJob title: Lead CookDepartment: Cambridge Park CIUHours: 37.5 per week (Permanent)Salary Range 3 £23,807 fixed point pro rata per annumWe are looking for a Lead Cook to lead our catering team to both prepare and provide nutritional, well balanced meals for patients, Including preparing specialised diets including maintaining stock and ordering within budget constraints and to manage a small team of cooks and catering assistants. Including undertaking supervision, rota management, training and recruitment.We are looking for someone who has production chef level 3 or equivalent and food hygiene course with experience of working within a busy kitchen, and supervising staff.In return you will receive further training opportunities, receive support and work part of a wider team within the Inpatient unit contributing to service development.About usCare Plus Group is an employee owned Social Enterprise, established in 2011 to deliver NHS community health and social care services and employ over 800 people.
