Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.Your ImpactOur Brucejack Operation is looking for a Site Supply Chain Lead to join our team. This position will offer a competitive base salary of 126,200-168,300 dependent on qualifications, skills and relevant experience.As the Lead Site Supply Chain, you will drive procurement, contracting, logistics, and supplier management to ensure smooth site operations. Your leadership will shape cost-effective supply chain strategies, enhance safety and sustainability, and foster strong supplier partnerships, all while aligning with corporate and regional objectives.As Part of Our Team, You Will:
- Lead a team of professionals to formulate and execute Site Supply Chain Management Strategies and implement all enterprise strategies on site.
- Coordinate alignment with regional teams and site specific commercial, enterprise and business unit strategies.
- Coordinate all safety initiatives by ensuring SC team members and contractors follow safety protocols, maintaining a healthy environment, implementing critical controls to eliminate fatalities and reduce health exposures, enhancing the quality of pre-start meetings and SPE investigations, fostering a safety-focused culture, and overseeing regional transportation and logistics standards.
- Coordinate site sourcing and procurement, including sustaining capital projects, by identifying local suppliers, negotiating contracts, and handling key supplier relationships.
- Coordinate the site SC budgeting process, forecast costs, monitor expenditures, review and approve site capital expenditures, and ensure SC operations remain within agreed yearly budgets.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of leadership experience in supply chain leadership within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
- Expertise in procurement, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost forecasting.
- Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems and knowledge of local procurement regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
