Learning Support AssistantLocation: East Grinstead, West Sussex
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PMAre you passionate about supporting children with autism? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in East Grinstead. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with children who have autism, providing 1:1 or group support tailored to their individual needs.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Help students develop essential communication, social, and life skills.
• Adapt learning materials and approaches to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
• Monitor and support emotional well-being, fostering a safe and positive environment for learning.

About You:

• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role, is beneficial but not essential.
• A passion for supporting children with autism and a strong commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to learning and the ability to take on feedback and training opportunities.
