Job description
Castleford College and Wakefield College.We are looking for a passionate and committed Health and Social Care lecturer to join our team, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential.As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you would teach on Level 1, 2 and 3 Health and Social Care courses. A knowledge and understanding of T-Level Health is also desirable.We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed. Ideally, you will hold a Degree in a discipline related to Health and Social Care.Not yet qualified but interested in getting into teaching?If you have not previously worked within the Education sector but have considered a career move, you may be suitable for the Department of Education – Taking Teaching Further initiative, which employs industry specialists direct into Further Education. You will receive an enhanced support package whilst you gain a Teaching Qualification.
