Job description
As a management lecturer, you will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical teaching in the field of management. You will design teaching programmes, run course sessions, assess students and advise them on their academic progress. They may also contribute to research in their field of expertise. The skills and concepts taught include :
- Accounting
- Management
- Statistics
- Human resources
- Business Law
- Transportation Law
Status: Contract – Fall 2024 sessionLocation: Lasalle College, Montreal, QuebecRESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan class sessions ;
- Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner ;
- Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach ;
- Administer and correct assessments ;
- Monitor each student and encourage success ;
- Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course ;
- All other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
- Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
- Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale.
