Taylor Root is working with an international NGO who work with businesses and governments to accelerate global climate action. They’re looking to hire a Legal Manager on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract from October.Reporting into the Head of Legal, this is a terrific role for someone who has strong commercial awareness and enjoys a broad remit of work. Sitting within a collaborative, personable, and committed team, you’ll have lots of exposure and be very front-facing.Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts.
- Supporting different teams across the business, incl. Events and Sponsorship.
- Reviewing and updating legal templates.
- Supporting colleagues overseas and external counsel with commercial contracts amendments and issues.
- Supporting on data privacy work incl. data transfer agreements, data sharing agreements, and policies.
- Assisting with training to the wider business.
Experience required:
- English qualified solicitor, or solicitor qualified in a common-law jurisdiction.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great commercial acumen.
