Job description
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic, engaging, and high-quality L2 Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Ripon. The school provides a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment that is passionate about pupils learning development.
The duty of this role involves the following:
- Adapting resources and tasks to suit the needs of pupils with additional needs.
- Leading intervention groups in reading, writing, and maths.
- Engaging pupils with learning through interactive and creative activities.
- Working as part of a team.
- Following KCSIE and Safeguarding policies.
The position is Monday – Friday 8:30 – 3:30 and the daily rate is £76 – £85 per day.
During your time in the placement, you will be supported by Tradewind Recruitment. We can provide you with excellent CPD training supplied by the National College, a helpful consultant to help you in your placement, and competitive pay.

- Experience working in a child-based setting.
- Level 2 TA Diploma
- Right to work in the UK
- Satisfactory References
- Enhanced DBS on UDS.
