As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at alongside your Babcock and Military colleagues by taking a ‘Whole Force’ approach to our activities and ensuring that Babcock’s excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Aircraft inspections.
  • Aircraft repair.
  • Aircraft maintenance.
  • Line support tasks
  • Supporting paperwork and certification

This role is full time and based onsite at Boscombe Down.Essential experience of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:

  • Have experience in the aircraft industry.
  • Have experience in a pt.145 environment.
  • Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS).

Qualifications for the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:

  • Hold a CAA pt. 66 B1.2 licence.
  • CAA pt. 66 B1.2 licence.
  • Clean driving licence.

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Clearance.
