THE OPPORTUNITYLa-kwa sa muqw Forestry, a partnership between Western Forest Products and the member First Nations of the Nanwakolas Council, is looking to hire a Licensed Log Scaler, preferably with BC Coastal logging experience, to join our team, located in Kelsey Bay, BC.What We Offer:

Shifts: This position is currently on a 6×3 shift, 6 days on and 3 days off, 8.6 hours per dayThis role is considered safety sensitive, all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience

  • Currently hold a valid BC Coastal Scaling License;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in BC Coastal Logging;
  • Log Scaling/Grading according to WFP log sorts and specifications; and
  • HBS Scribner scale, WFP log sorts, codes and grades;
  • Preference may be given to the applicant holding a valid OFA Level 3 First Aid Ticket.
