Licensed NeuropsychologistNeuroSteele is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Neuropsychologist to join their healthcare team in Goodlettsville, TN. The successful candidate will specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of cognitive and psychological disorders related to brain function. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive evaluations and care for patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries, memory impairment, neurological diseases, and more.This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants!Role Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations: Perform detailed assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions, using a combination of interviews, case histories, observational techniques, and standardized tests. Administer and interpret psychological tests to gather information on intelligence, achievements, interests, or personality traits.
• Diagnose and Develop Treatment Plans for Cognitive and Psychological Disorders: Identify psychological, emotional, behavioral, or cognitive disorders using collected data, including medical, psychological, social, and family histories. Create and implement individualized treatment plans to support cognitive rehabilitation and emotional well-being, often in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Monitor Patient Progress and Adjust Interventions: Regularly assess patient progress through follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide ongoing counseling and support based on assessment outcomes, helping patients and families understand conditions, prognosis, and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams for Comprehensive Care: Work closely with neurologists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Engage with professionals and agencies to discuss treatment approaches and share occupational information to improve patient outcomes.
• Prepare Reports and Maintain Accurate Documentation: Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-ups in comprehensive reports, ensuring timely and accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Contribute to Training and Professional Development: Develop and participate in training programs for staff, students, and clinicians in training. Supervise and mentor interns and clinicians, providing guidance and evaluating their performance in patient assessment and treatment.
• Stay Updated with Research and Make Referrals: Keep abreast of the latest developments in neuropsychology by engaging with current research and contributing to studies when applicable. Refer clients to specialists or support services as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• Doctor of Psychology or Clinical Psychology with a focus in Neuropsychology required.
• Postdoctoral Fellowship or Fellowship Rotation in Neuropsychology required.
• Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in psychological testing and neuropsychological assessment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations and basic computer skills.

• Competitive Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year, with potential to reach $150,000 based on experience and licensure.
