Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, a Linux/web systems administrator with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.Aujourd’hui, je recrute pour un de mes beaux clients situé au centre-ville de Montréal, un administrateur systèmes Linux/web avec 2-3 ans d’expériences dans un poste similaire.
- Analysis and resolution of technical problems
- Management and maintenance of equipment and software essential to the proper functioning of applications (hardware and software), as well as internal/shared infrastructure
- Monitoring and updating technology trends in dedicated architectures
- Recommendations for network and systems architectures
- Consultation and suggestions for optimizing hosted infrastructures in terms of costs, availability and security
- Collaboration during the pre-sales stages with the sales team (customer or prospect contacts and meetings)
- Transfer or migration of servers
- Configuration and deployment of servers and software platforms
- OS: UNIX/Linux (CentOs, Debian, RedHat)
- Web server: Apache, NGINX
- DBMS: MySQL PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Software: Varnish, tomcat, memcached, php-fpm, Redis, postfix
- Language: PHP, python
- Fully bilingual
