As a Logistics Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of a dynamic administration team, focusing on all aspects of logistics administration, especially international movements.

In our clients bustling and fast-paced environment, no two days are the same! Your role will involve juggling multiple tasks and staying organised a midst the hustle and bustle. While they provide comprehensive training, prior experience in a logistics role and a basic understanding of UK import requirements would be advantageous.

Located in Kempston, this Warehouse and Distribution Centre offers free on-site parking and is conveniently close to bus stops, making your commute a breeze.

The good stuff:

• Plan consignment movements between sites to meet delivery deadlines.
• Control the day-to-day customs clearance of shipments into the UK in conjunction with our clearance agents and become a Kempston site Customs Expert.
• Assist with keeping Standard operating procedures, work instructions and risk assessments for the logistics teams up to date.
• Act as a training coordinator for the logistics teams.
• Updating spreadsheets, schedules, reports, and presentation slides.
• General administration tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning.
• Provide administrative support and cover within the team as required.

What we need from you:

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with an excellent command of English
• Confident MS Office skills, particularly Word & Excel
• Experience in a similar role.
