Collaborative & Friendly Corporate Culture!Our client, a well established, stable, custom goods manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are shipped to customers efficiently and on time. This role is responsible for coordinating with various departments, including sales, customer care, production, warehouse, and shipping, to streamline the shipping process and facilitate clear communication between stakeholders. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will support the logistics team by maintaining accurate records, addressing shipping-related issues, and helping to manage logistics operations.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively within a team. While a background in logistics is preferred, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are most important.The Role:Coordinate the shipping process to ensure timely delivery of products to customersCollaborate with sales, customer care, production, warehouse, and shipping departments to address and resolve shipping-related issuesMaintain accurate records of shipping schedules, inventory levels, and delivery statusesCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary informationIdentify opportunities for process improvement and support the development of logistics policies and proceduresMonitor and help manage logistics costs to ensure efficiency and cost-effectivenessAssist the Logistics Manager with departmental tasks as neededThe Ideal Candidate:2+ years of experience in a logistics supply chain management, or administrative role, or similar coordinator roleExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in computer usage, including email and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively with minimal supervisionPositive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional serviceAbility to thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment#TSSHP
