Reference: BC4449We are now working closely with a client of ours to help them find a Logistics Coordinator/Administrator to be based out of their international headquarters in Hemel Hempstead.The plan is for this to be a long term and ongoing temporary position, joining and working closely with a small team of people who run this function.This is a very hand on position, so day to day you will be managing a shared inbox of internal requests, organising the logistics of marketing/events-based materials, taking stock of inventory, but you’ll also be supporting with an element of hands-on work and physically helping move/pack some of these goods – it’s a very all-round role!You’ll be working in an office based in the Maylands area of Hemel Hempstead and due to the nature of this role you would need to be fully site based.Working hours are very flexible, you would be working a 6-hour day, working 30 hours a week and total flexibility on when you work these so long as they fall within core office hours and if you are happy to be flexible and work to certain hours during busy periods (events etc.).This role will be weekly pay with it being a temporary position and will be paying approx. £12 to £13 per hour + holiday accrual.What to expect day to day?

  • Accept incoming deliveries.
  • Process items for dispatch, this will include lifting and handling items.
  • Process requests for delivery of Marketing Materials.
  • Process movements of items using internal systems and ensuring correct codes, addresses etc. have been used.
  • Invoice handling.
  • Payments follow up & invoice status.
  • Work in line with chosen Courier/Delivery companies to manage any contractual changes and expectations (change of rates, service provided, templates, delivery information & personnel)
  • Undertake monthly reviews of stock and deliveries, ensuring accuracy of inventory.
  • Adhere to Quality requirements.
  • Monitor the complete delivery processes (e.g., Basement storage and/or carrier)
  • Arrange ad hoc deliveries on request including cross EU shipments.

  • Great people and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a hands-on role and be on site 5 days a week
  • The ability to use MS Excel and pick up new computer-based systems easily
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills and able to work towards deadlines
