Introduction
United Nations Development Programme, hereinafter referred to as UNDP hereby invites prospective bidders to submit a bid in accordance with the General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Invitation to Bid (ITB).
Objective: To achieve time-cost efficiency from economies of scale while ensuring outstanding quality of travel services, the United Nations Agencies in Panama wishes to enter Long-Term Agreement with one (1) Travel Agency to serve all its travel management. The services under Long-Term Agreements will be used by the United Nations System Agencies or Projects.
Note: this process is conducted by UNDP on behalf of agencies, funds and programmes of the United Nations System. the long-term agreements will be signed by UNDP; however, the services will be provided to funds and programmes of the United Nations system indicated in section 5: term of reference. The term “long term agreement” refers to a written agreement between UNDP and a supplier that is established for specific goods or services at prescribed prices or pricing provisions for a defined period of time, against which specific orders (call-offs) can be placed at any time during the defined period and with no legal obligation to order any minimum or maximum quantity.
