Job Summary and Qualifications
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Working closely with Director of Operations in hiring quality and experienced Maintenance techs; review applications, interview candidates and make recommendations on hires. May not have direct reports until footprint is larger.
- Responsible for maintenance and site repairs/construction, preventative maintenance for the purpose of providing services within established time frames and in compliance with related requirements.
- Review all fire safety and OSHA regulations on a regular basis and during AAAHC survey
- Maintain compliance for all National Electrical Codes (NEC) and National Fire Protection (NFPC). Collaborates with internal and external personnel; other administrators, auditors, public agencies, vendors for the purpose of implementing and/or maintaining services and programs.
- Reporting incidents, complaints and building break-ins, Utility problems to the Director for the purpose of resolving or recommending a resolution to the situation.
- Implements a robust preventative maintenance program for the purpose of ensuring the clinics and home office is maintained in a safe condition.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations on petty cash expenditures and expenses for maintenance to ensure expenses are within budget limits and best practices are followed.
- Performs personnel functions; interviewing, evaluating, supervising, counseling, disciplining, directing and training for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of assigned personnel.
- Complete and or manage daily work at the clinics
- Oversee daily janitorial cleaning issues for all assigned centers.
- Coordinate floor stripping and waxing on a quarterly basis or every six months
- HVAC – Creation and implementation of HVAC Preventive Maintenance Program
- Electrical – Manage regular electrical safety checks.
- Security – maintain security systems at all locations. Work with Director to ensure high Security is implemented at all the clinics.
- Fire Safety – Manage the clinic fire extinguishers for annual inspection
- Serve as first line of contact and work to resolve any emergency situation during or after hours for Electrical, Plumbing or Security issues
- Maintain necessary communication with all managers, Area Managers and other Directors of the clinics and home office
- Inspect and evaluate physical plant, grounds and equipment; documentation required
- Responsible for required spreadsheets and purchasing supplies and materials using current PO system
- Coordinate with the AVP of DE Novo on purchasing equipment and furniture for clinics
- Responsible for storage maintenance and organization
- Direct installation of signs and banners for the clinics during promotion of school physicals, flu shots and other special campaigns assigned by the advertising department.
EDUCATION:
No education requirements
EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and /or construction. Extensive mechanical, electrical ability and knowledge
