We are looking for a Maintenance Scheduler ( 12M Term) they will responsible for coordinating and processing Site Maintenance activities through the Daily Work Program. The Scheduler acts as the interface between the customer and various work groups.What will you be doing !

  • Monitor Work Requests and Work Orders for performing work and scheduling the activity.
  • Initiate Work Requests on behalf of the customer group to ensure timely implementation and action.
  • Assist with the development of the rolling schedule, including identifying and coordinating maintenance work activities on the schedule.
  • Interface with customers and maintenance work groups to determine required resources for completing jobs and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Facilitate urgent and priority jobs through coordination of work activities with other work groups.
  • Schedule, monitor, review and close jobs.
  • Recommend additional PM activities to customers to improve effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance activities.
  • Review outstanding Work Orders and maintain the backlog at a reasonable established level.
  • Resolve job conflicts as a result of coordination needs, changing priorities and customer requests.
  • Disposition and close orphaned tasks.
  • Attend all required meetings (POW, POND, Safety, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work smoothly and effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
  • Extensive knowledge of site systems and equipment.
  • Experience understanding and implementing regulatory and company requirements and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to schedules and to meet deadlines.
  • Initiative to resolve problems and expedite resources, work plans or other appropriate actions.
  • Good knowledge of software systems such as CMMS, ORACLE and/or other applicable programs.
  • Self-motivated, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to interact with peers, other departments, and external vendor.
  • Ability to self-manage and perform administrative responsibilities related to various tasks.

Education:· Post-secondary education, with a minimum of 5 years of technical or maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Security Clearance:Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom.Why CNL?Does working with a team across Canada to advance nuclear science and technology for a clean and secure world speak to you?
