Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a Rotherham-based food manufacturer to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader.
Salary – £50,000
Working hours – 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off
This is a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader role, leading a team of 3 engineers the role would suit someone who is able to work on their own initiative with a can-do, enthusiastic, first-time fix attitude.
Duties of the Maintenance Team Leader include:
- Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on the plant
- Attend breakdowns on production equipment and related plant
- Ensure maintenance schedules in line with the weekly work plan program as in CMMS is executed to 92% completion
- During plant shutdown undertake overhaul and reconditioning of plant generated through the preventative maintenance process
- Frequently line walk by yourself and your team to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance
- Work closely with Operations on priority, improvements, and coordination of activities.
- Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like preventative maintenance.
- Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to major systems and equipment.
We would be keen to speak with Maintenance Team Leaders with the following experience:
- Mechanically/ Electrically biased
- FMCG experience
- Must be willing to work at height.
- Experience working in occupied premises
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
