Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Manager, Audit Resource Management, you will manage operational activities related to CAE Group’s resources, compliance with RBC standards and financial management including reporting of expenditures and measuring performance of CAE Group. They will act as a trusted advisor to improve overall productivity of the CAE Group and optimize the operating model.The RBC CAE Group leverages a unique perspective— with a coordinated view across the entire business—to deliver valuable advice that not only gives assurance, but that illuminates a bigger picture, connects dots, builds best practices, and broadens possibilities. We connect intelligence to protect and enable RBC.What will you do?

  • Manage CAE Group’s resource monitoring process including vacancy reporting, tracking promotions, and initiating onboarding/offboarding processes through a centralized/data driven process and complete tasks as assigned
  • Maintains Organizational charts and RBC BCP database for all CAE Group employees
  • Maintain database of employees’ work experience, education, professional designations, resource pools, and skills
  • Liaison with Global Compliance on ensuring alignment with Enterprise Standards: monitored employees, gift and entertainment
  • Manage and monitor compliance with the Enterprise Conduct & Culture standards for CAE Group
  • Lead CAE Group’s FTE forecast and planning cycles alongside Functions Finance
  • Prepare quarterly reporting package and lead discussions with senior management on CAE Group 1) Performance & Productivity and 2) non-interest expenditure & key financial insights
  • Support monitoring of global professional fees spend (3rd party usage) against budgets, Statement of Work, invoices and timesheets, and continuously identify opportunities to reduce cost

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in an accounting / business / finance or related discipline; Relevant professional accounting designation (CPA/CA) or working towards one
  • Experience managing large datasets using tools such as Excel to drive insights (e.g. PivotTables, Graphs)
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, and ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Ability to manage and achieve multiple deadlines, both internal and external
  • A ‘global first’ process and product mindset, with cooperation across BUs for scaling global opportunities and maximizing product re-use.

Nice-to-have

  • User-centric mindset with a focus on balancing stakeholder needs with cost and feasibility
  • Sound knowledge or experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis, accounting allocations, project finance or budgeting is a plus
  • Experience in resource management including resourcing, resource database management, optimization for productivity and vendor management, is a plus
