Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Join our RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) team as a Manager, Billing Operations. You will be responsible for supporting the client operations and finance teams in a wide-ranging and evolving role. The position’s primary responsibility is ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation for institutional client accounts. Additional responsibilities include adopting best practices, establishing efficiencies within the department, helping set up a framework to support global billing operations, providing other accounting functions such as reconciliations and analysis, and team supervision. For more information, please visit:What will you do?Become a subject matter expert on the methodology and calculation of Institutional client account fees with accountability for the accuracy and timeliness of client invoicing.Provide oversight and leadership to the Billing Operations team to ensure the successful execution of the recurring Institutional client invoicing process.Continuously evaluate and, if necessary, evolve the billing process to ensure a seamless workflow and adoption of best practicesCombine Excel reporting with Broadridge’s Revport platform to maintain client records and prepare invoices for the Institutional client business.Be a first point of contact for clients and for the Institutional client team, requiring timely and professional responses.Monitor and follow-up on outstanding receivables, record all invoices and payments, and reconcile to the ledger.Ensure that client billing documentation is complete and available as required for internal controls review, external audit, and to facilitate a smooth and accurate billing cycle.Assist the Business Operations and Finance teams with other tasks, as required.What do you need to succeed?Must HaveUniversity degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or commerce.Minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar role (Invoice/Billing) and experience managing teams.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software.Experience in preparing and/or reviewing financial analytics and reconciliations.Proven success is business process optimization and creating efficiencies.Nice to HaveKnowledge of Broadridge’s Revport system, particularly in a multi-currency environment.Experience with system implementation and ongoing enhancements.Accounting or financial services industry experience.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
