Working directly with several business units in terms of financing and BDC advisory services, the main mandate of the successful candidate will be to define practices based on a transformation to product management and to develop the skills of the team.As a leader, you will mentor a team of Business Analysts and Application Specialists, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and learning. This pivotal role focuses on prioritizing work that brings business value by developing tactical initiatives and driving innovation in banking services to meet the evolving needs of customers and the market by improving bank operations, financial products, as well as customer and employee experience.The successful candidate will have to make sure to work closely with the various IT delivery managers at the application level and leaders as well as business SMEs. You will also have to work closely with the Agile Center of Excellence and the various stakeholders at the Product Manager and Product Owner level.Finally, we are looking for a leader committed to establishing the group’s mission and vision to improve the overall service offering by demonstrating the company’s values within the group: United for Entrepreneurs, Powered by People, and Courageously Impactful. .CHALLENGES TO BE METCoordinate the group of Business Analysts and Application Specialists in a community of practice.Develop and implement a vision for the future regarding the role and responsibilities of Business Analysts and Application Specialists towards a product-based management mode.Ensure the development of talent and the level of knowledge required according to the environment through the implementation of skills matrix.Ensure the adoption of Agile working methods and practices within the team.Develop a network of relationships throughout the company at both the business and information technology levels.Quickly master the Financing and Advisory Services business processes and their associated applications.Support the Director of Business Technology in the management of projects and represent the Business Technology group in various committees as applicable.Ensure you are up to date with new current and emerging business technologies and best practices in financial markets and information technology.Be responsible for ensuring an appropriate level of depth and competence using different levers (hiring, development, coaching, safety, psychology, management 3.0, motivation, leader-servant)Contributes to the overall strategic direction of the Business Enablement group.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology or any other equivalent study related to the position.Strong direct or influential leadership skills demonstrated through previous experience.Agile team management experience in a matrix environment would be considered an asset.Strong communication skillsKnowledge of the differences between product management vs. project modeProficiency in several tools including Azure Devops, Confluence, Miro and the Office 365 suite would be considered an asset.Knowledge of business analysis techniques, exploratory mode, user story mapping would be considered an asset.Strong skills in individual coaching as well as workshop facilitation techniques.Strong problem-solving skills while balancing individual needs with team and organizational needs.In-depth knowledge of financial services software and their various integrations.Ability to work under pressure by managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Bilingualism is essential (English & French).PMP, PMI, CBAP, or similar certifications are advantageous.Proudly one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible environment where all employees can thrive and feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
