Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Cards is one of the leading credit card businesses in Canada and is a strong contributor to RBC’s overall Canadian Banking revenues and profits. The business has grown tremendously in the last five years, driven by our strong suite of Credit Card products and innovative strategy.The successful candidate for this role will be tasked with supporting the implementation of business strategy for RBC’s lending cards. As the Manager, Cards Lending Product you will partner with various product and marketing teams, be accountable for the successful execution and integration of business strategies across multiple key stakeholders and be responsible for enhancing shareholder value creation. Specifically, you will contribute to the broader Cards business objectives and results by supporting the successful implementation of acquisition strategies and product planning that aligns with our product development goals.What will you do?Support new product development throughout various stages of product lifecycle, including market research, value prop development etc.Support the execution of acquisition strategies to acquire new credit card clients, including go-to market approach by channelCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, marketing analytics, product, and acquisition to design and execute on a variety of strategies and campaigns.Support development of effective marketing assets for new campaigns and/or new products that appeal to the target client baseMonitor and report on strategy effectiveness and KPI outcomes relative to expectations and preparing executive level presentations.What do you need to succeed?Must have:Prior marketing or acquisition experience, ideally with complex financial productsAnalytical skills – ability to analyze large sets of data to support business decisionsStrategic Mindset – ability to think strategically, integrate information from multiple sources and synthesize complex issuesAbility to achieve results in the context of complexity and ambiguityHighly organized with ability to multitask and shift prioritiesWell-developed interpersonal and influencing skills to build and maintain effective working relationships and elicit cooperation from internal partnersProficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPointProficient in SQL/SAS/PythonNice to have:Prior Cards experience or working knowledge of Cards products – understanding of key credit card business drivers and operationsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
