And we do all this with an unrivalled sense of urgency that our clients love about us.The opportunityThe Manager, Cash Management is responsible for leading the team in the set-up and ongoing maintenance of cash management products and services including preparation, completion, administration, and distribution of documentation. Leader will have oversight and be the primary contact for troubleshooting, escalation, and compliance/regulatory accountabilities. This role is a key resource in supporting the growth and retention of the banking centre portfolio of diversified clients, and their everyday operational banking needs.The Manager, Cash Management future accomplishments:Lead the Cash Management Specialists to work closely with the Banking Centre, Real Estate, and Equipment Finance teams, to recommend effective full-service business banking solutions to clients to meet Banking Centre financial objectives.Ensure team is collecting all manual fees for Cash Management Services and programming monthly service fees to be collected (CAFT set-up, RDC set-up, RDC monthly fee, etc.) as well as overseeing the accurate execution of client processes and account reviews, to ensure minimal fee reimbursements and reversals (service charges reversals, customer goodwill, and third-party reimbursements) to clients due to preventable Banking Centre errors.Ensure that Cash Management Specialists are working alongside the Cash Management sales, Commercial, Real Estate, and Equipment Finance partners, as an effective part of the Banking Centre “Deal Team”.Oversee the Cash Management Specialist team’s participation in marketing campaigns, and local market initiatives including consistent use of the CRM reporting tool.Ensure that team members are following operational guidelines for KYC and AML.Oversee team participation in all Head and Regional Office requests for file audits and remedial (“clean-up”) projects and ensure that all team members are properly managing all required reports.Accurately complete all administrative updates including ownership structure changes, signing authorities, and client authorizations on the banking system, physical account file and for Cash Management Services utilizing COMET.Liaise with Bank Operations and Compliance at inter Banking Centre, regional, and Head Office levelsProvide ongoing leadership, formal and informal coaching to direct reports, to develop their administrative and client support skills and confidence as well discuss future career goals and development plans.Core know-how & experience requirementsPost secondary diploma or degree in a related field (Business, Commerce, Finance, or Sales & Marketing).Foundational knowledge and experienceMinimum 4 years banking experience of which 2 years in a business or other banking support and administrative role.Strong background in cash management, treasury management, payments, merchant services, liquidity, and investment products and services.Excellent knowledge of cash management products, services, service fees, and renewal terms.Working knowledge of Payment Canada Rules, knowledge of deposit and investment products, and understanding of business and cash management market knowledgeA passionate leader and coach who can effectively motivate a team and be a role model for team performance, employee engagement, and career progression.Self-starter with a strong sense of teamwork, who proactively seeks out business opportunities and is willing to be accountable for the success of the Banking Centre Cash Management business.Strong ability to respond and resolve service and problem issues including navigating through Corporate Office departments and inter Banking Centre cooperation.Ability to create a positive work environment where employees are motivated to do their best.Why work with us?Your success is our obsession!
