Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As Manager, Client Credit Support, you will be a credit professional that assesses and processes credit solutions for Private Banking clients aligned with the Private Banking value proposition. You will lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what’s possible to maximize client acquisition, growth, and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will deliver on the RBC promise of superior client service through efficient support to the Managers, Credit Structures, in delivering high-end relationship management and advice to high net worth clients following all five principles of the Black Card Experience.What will you do?

  • Deliver efficient, professional, and best-in-class support to the Managers, Credit Structures
  • Coordinate the flow of documentation to ensure premium turnaround time and overall efficiency, meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Action daily excess management reports, obtaining Group Risk Management’s approval when required
  • Conduct credit analyses for financing applications for clients with complex financial structures and prepare recommendations for approval as appropriate
  • Prepare and submit well-structured and articulate credit proposals for approval, supported by due diligence and with a sense of urgency
  • Collaborate with team to identify, evaluate, and act on early warning signals, financial covenants, margins, collateral security values and take immediate action, as required

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit granting to personal and/or business clients in a client-facing/contact environment
  • Superior client relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge and understanding of RBC Private Banking financing products, credit/risk procedures, guidelines, and standards
  • Experience in Business and/or Commercial Markets
