Whats the opportunity?

As a Manager Digital Product Management, you will work closely with the development teams & business stakeholders to scale the existing capability of RBC’s employee expense technology platform (SAP Concur) and will also continue to evolve our Project & Portfolio Management Office (PMO) technology solution across the bank.

What will you do?

  • Lead product projects in partnership with internal business partners and external third party service providers in areas of innovation, product positioning and product management.
  • Drive the execution of high-level product roadmaps into features and product delivery.
  • Participate and/or identify business resources for user acceptance testing (where needed) and post-implementation validation (PIV).
  • Works on IT Risk management deliverables: eliminate technology vulnerabilities, partner with different Centers of Governance (CoGs) to ensure that applications in our portfolio function according to published RBC IT Risk Standards.
  • Leverage automation to drive efficiency and to improve our operating environment.
  • Investigates, resolves, and reports on medium- to highly-complex technical issues requiring business application understanding.
  • Makes recommendations on process improvements and enhances system and support documentation for lower levels of support (Level 1 and Level 2). Coach members of L1 and L2 teams.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience in managing and supporting SaaS products
  • Proven ability working in an environment with constant change and ambiguity;
  • Strategic agility and creative mindset with proven ability to effectively partner/work and succeed in a complex environment
  • Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting demands, consultative, highly adaptable, flexible, and effective.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – Accurately defines problems and identifies relevant factors by objectively considering alternatives and anticipates impact of possible solutions;

Nice-to-have

  • Experience providing feedback and inputs in technical and architectural design.
  • Automation and monitoring experience or knowledge
  • Familiar with JIRA/Confluence tools.
  • Familiarity and prior experience with SAP Concur or other similar industry leading travel/expense management applications
  • Familiarity and prior experience with Planview or other similar industry leading project and portfolio management applications
