This role is critical to ensure that Customer Insight, Data, and Analytics’ (CID&A) resources are used effectively by actively supporting monthly collection of staff work effort and generating insightful reports and dashboards from the data. The incumbent is primarily responsible to support (new and current users) and further the development of a Power BI dashboard for the tracking of staff utilization across CID&A initiatives. Assist in managing/creating an overall view of Enterprise Data Portfolios across different business lines to ensure all initiatives are aligned with CID&A’s and overall Bank’s strategy. Manage the consolidation of reporting for CID&A with Finance. This includes staff reconciliation by transit and staff hiring approval process and reporting.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

People Analytics and Reporting (50%)

  • Manage and propose enhancements to current metrics, with the aim of creating new insights across the various datasets curated by the team.
  • Enhance the Power BI reporting platform to ensure scalability and ease of use for new analytics, avoiding repeated rebuilds due to poor foundational planning.

Operational Support (40%)

  • Collaborate with all CID&A teams to gather strategic agenda for CID&A, execute data validation scripts, handle data remediation and cleansing, prepare that data for final reporting, and report operational effectiveness.
  • Engage in regular discussions with the stakeholders and recommend process improvements to enhance quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the portfolio reporting and its production process.

Platform Enhancement and Support (10%)

  • Maintain the existing reporting framework and platform as new requirements arise and need to be integrated.
  • Increase the analytical capabilities of the platform from collected data with the goal of generating new insights within the data and across multiple datasets collected by other team members.

  • Experience in Financial reporting in a portfolio setting
  • Experience in Portfolio Management in data management setting
  • Experience in working with data management processes and best practices
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, CA-PPM are assets
  • Strong communication skills including precise articulation of ideas and opinions
  • Strong statistical, analytical and presentation skills (creation and delivery)
  • Strong knowledge working with Finance, PMO, and its key partners, and their related policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
