Job Summary To conduct Financial Crimes oversight testing on business unit financial crime controls and report issues to senior management accordinglyJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As Senior Manager, High Risk Client Management (HRCM), you will support the Director, HRCM by providing tactical direction and end-to-end ownership and execution of core risk decisions related to the identification, review, management, and escalation of higher risk clients including the risk assessment and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes to mitigate against financial, regulatory, reputational, and legal risks at RBC using a risk-based approach. This role also requires the following: maintaining responsibility for the identification, confirmation, management, and approval process for the on-boarding and periodic review and assessment of high risk clients and managing a team of approximately 5 to 10 staff.What will you do?Execute Financial Crimes Oversight Testing Plan:Conduct regular oversight testing of the key Financial Crimes controls in scope, ensuring all testing conducted aligns with enterprise standards.Issue formal reporting on all oversight testing completed.Participate in the issue management process when issues are identified, providing effective challenge on action plans, and following up with issue owners to ensure issues can be closed within the expected completion date.Oversight and Reporting Activities:Support with oversight and reporting activitiesSupport with process & program initiativesWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveStrong skills in enhancing and maintaining consistent risk-based programsInterpersonal skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong written and oral communication skills; business writing experienceVery good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of softwareNice-to-haveICA, ACAMS, MBA, Certified Internal Audit (CIA)What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, thinking progressively to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
