Requisition ID: 204318Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.This role is responsible for the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual results, forecasting, planning (including 3-year and 5-year strategic plan), for an assigned Canadian Wealth Management (CWM) Team of Experts support group (TOE). The incumbent is also responsible for contributing to the insights, performance management, metrics reporting, compensation calculation and analytical support of the CWM Team of Experts support group. This includes completion of product profitability reviews, cost benefit evaluations within the various businesses, and financial modeling, and analysis to support strategic initiatives undertaken by the Business.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:Coordinate the development and preparation of Finance reports for Team of Experts support group. The individual is responsible for monitoring results against appropriate performance measurement criteria and key business metrics:Monthly Headcount reporting and quarterly headcount analysisMonthly expenses accrualsMonthly Overview PackageVarious KPI reporting and analysisProvide monthly/quarterly commentary on financial and metric information as required as part of the Canadian Banking and Canadian Wealth Management Finance reporting process.Responsible for running the Strategic & Annual Profit Plan, Scenarios, and Monthly Forecasting cycles, including:Updating planning/forecasting models and provide commentaryPreparation and distribution of the annual budget packages for all stakeholdersAssist transit owners in completing their department budgetMonitoring and uploading the budgets/forecasts onto HyperionPreparation of consolidated and completion of analyticsVariance to plan and previous forecasts analysisResponsible for the development, maintenance, and update of financial models in support of new initiatives and projects proposed by the Business Heads:Assist Business Heads in analyzing the financial impact of new initiatives through the modeling of different scenarios and parametersProvide recommendations to Senior ManagementProvide Profitability AnalysisPreparing marketing campaign financial impact analysisPrepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.Provide resolution for finance-related issues and support to key stakeholders as required.Manage Financial Analyst intern for successful month-end processes.Perform other duties as assigned.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:Preferred Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA) or MBA and 3 years related work experience is requiredAbility to be self-starter, results-focus, and highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-taskStrong organizational, interpersonal and communication abilities to direct varied activities within tight deadlinesExcellent financial analysis skills with a solid grasp of Bank profitability and performance measurement tools/criteria are essential, as is a demonstrated ability to conceptualize problems and clearly apply analytical techniques for evaluating investments to make sound financial recommendations to Senior Manager / ManagerWorking knowledge of financial software such as OBI, Hyperion, or PeoplesoftStrong Excel skills are a prerequisite (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Sumif, Sumproduct, etc.)Nice to have experience with Power Query and PowerBISuperior influencing skills with excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills to build consensus and obtain co-operationExemplary customer service, including professional advice and creative solutions, is requiredAbility to take accountability for providing excellent service and resolving customer problems promptly and professionally.Strategic problem solving and stay focused and present to task.
