Requisition ID: 209716Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.The Manager, Global Finance Testing is responsible for performing testing of Global Finance programs, processes, and internal controls to assess design and operating effectiveness and to verify compliance with regulations, policies and procedures. As part of these testing activities, the incumbent will also be required to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial and regulatory reporting produced by Global Finance, identify control weaknesses, and make recommendations to process and control owners on resolutions for mitigating non-financial risk.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead and perform end-to-end planning, execution, and reporting of assigned first line Global Finance testing engagements, with the objective of evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of regulatory, compliance, and/or operational controls.
- Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with stakeholder partners to gain a thorough understanding of Finance programs, processes, controls, and reporting.
- Develop and execute appropriate testing procedures to assess compliance with regulatory reporting guidelines and financial accounting standards and policies, the nature and extent of which adequately and sufficiently support engagement scope, objectives and deliverables.
- Perform and document testing activities in a manner which adequately support test results and conclusions, and facilitates third party review and reperformance, as needed.
- Analyze test results, identify control weaknesses, and draft reportable issues and enhancement opportunities for discussion with process owners and Finance Management.
- Perform validation and closure testing of Finance testing issues which have been remediated to ensure management action plans appropriately address underlying control weaknesses and risks.
- Create and manage accurate and timely status updates and dashboards for senior management. Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for annual test planning and for senior management. Continuously monitor and improve report and dashboard quality and relevance.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA designation is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the Financial Sector
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and managing testing protocols for financial systems and processes.
- Proven track record of ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, perform variance analysis, and generate accurate reports.
- Previous experience in Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and/or Internal Control Testing considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to prepare reporting and to interact effectively with stakeholder and management at various levels.
- Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills; able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities effectively and efficiently without compromising quality.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, testing and reporting activities.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in escalating complex and sensitive issues.
- Strong negotiation skills, with proven ability to influence and secure information and cooperation from others.
