As a member of the Healthcare Workforce Strategy and Programs team (HCWF Team), you will help translate insights into transformational program solutions, assets, and communications, identify and action catalytic grant-funding opportunities to innovative organizations, and measure our collective impact. The role will report to the Director of Healthcare Workforce Strategy & Programs, Global Health Equity.You will support J&J collaboration with leaders and partners from across the world, as you engage cross-functional Global Health Equity team members and leaders from across J&J Innovative Medicine and J&J MedTech and make a lasting difference by engaging and learning from NGOs, multilateral health organizations, foundations, private sector innovators, and others.Joining our team means being part of something bigger than yourself. If so, we are the team for you.The role requires experience in the development and execution of marketing and health equity strategies, execution, and communication and ability to drive collaboration and partnership across the enterprise and externally, among other qualifications listed below.Strategy and Activation of the GHE Business Matching Funds Program

  • Drive the strategic focus and implementation of the global business matching funds program, in collaboration with leaders within the Healthcare Workforce Strategy & Programs Team and broader GHE/J&J
  • Continually improve and communicate the global BMF program to J&J Sector teams, to include full program guidelines, application, and selection processes and timelines
  • Develop advanced approaches to measure and optimize the impact of the overall matching funds program and individual funded initiatives, in partnership with GHE insight and measurement teams
  • Closely partner with the GHE Communications Team to develop a suite of assets that enable J&J employees to effectively learn about Business Matching Funds impact and how they can benefit patients by applying for business matching funds grants, and to integrate program activation, stories, and impact into the J&J signature health equity communications campaign.

Strategic Support and Activation of GHE Health Equity Initiatives:

  • Support the activation of broader Healthcare Workforce Strategy & Programs Team health equity initiatives, e.g., My Health Can’t Wait Community Wellness Events and GHE Community Impact Grant Programs
  • Support J&J engagement and activations at global health equity events, conferences, and internal and external advisory boards (content development, speaker enrollment, contracting, etc.)
  • Develop content and assets to support the proactive and efficient sharing of GHE health equity communications, assets, and events to enable J&J employees to learn about and J&J health equity programs and communicate the same to external stakeholders.

Internal and External Alignment and Program Execution

  • Manage day-to-day operations between J&J and health equity organizations, community partners, and marketing agencies executing J&J global health equity strategies and plans.
  • Represent the Healthcare Workforce Strategy & Programs team in select collaboration meetings within the broader GHE, Global Corporate Affairs, and J&J Sector Teams
  • Provide general execution support for HCWF Team activation, events, and internal processes/budget, including owning:

o Required grant approval system submissionso Copy approval submissionso Purchase Orders and management of health equity strategy and programs budget

  • • A Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial marketing experience is required,
  • Experience including stakeholder engagement, business leadership, executive presence, proficiency with “dot connecting”, influencing without authority, creating long term impact and enhancing the reputation of organization is required
  • Experience in Health Equity is a strong asset.
  • Strong strategic expertise inclusive of strong commercial history of creating a differentiated approach to add significant business value is required.
  • Strong history for partnering with diverse stakeholders, leading /connecting dots/building collaboration across diverse teams without direct authority is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare space, health systems, and how strengthening the health workforce can add value to the health system, J&J business and build equity and reputation internally and externally is required.
  • Knowledge of health equity and barriers facing healthcare workers, patients, HCPs and health systems is required.
  • Strong project management skills with emphasis on planning, prioritizing, and execution under tight timeframes is required.
  • Strong networking ability and ability to convene with internal and external partners Is required.
  • Clear understanding of J&J sectors and how Health workforce can create complimentary value is required.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills – verbal and written is required.
  • Ability to use insights and analytics to drive reputation outcomes is required.
  • Experience working within leading diverse matrixed teams is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality results in a high pressure, high visibility role is required.
  • Experience in working with government and regulatory officials, NGO’s and other stakeholders preferred.

Other:

  • 15% travel is required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000- $166,750.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
