We are seeking a dynamic sales and service driven Manager, Personal Banking to lead our team! We are looking for someone who understands what is important to business owners and wants to grow and develop the Personal Banking and Cash Management business in our branch to be in sync with our overall strategic goal. Expected business results

Facilitate and enhance market awareness and productive relationships within the local business and professional community.

Strong portfolio growth in personal deposits and lending products.

Strong, profitable growth in full-service client relationships, inclusive of corresponding levels of banking fee income and wealth management assets under management.

Sound risk management and operational practices demonstrated through solid credit performance and continuous compliance with parameters of CWB’s operational and regulatory risk appetite/policies/ procedures.

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from

You’ve got a post-secondary degree or equivalent demonstrated experience. You’ve spent 6 years in banking inclusive of 5 years celebrated sales mentoring and leadership. You possess highly developed relationship building skills and proven capability to articulate customer value with a honed passion for supporting and carrying out sales & coaching initiatives. A Mutual Funds license is required & any small business or commercial banking exposure would be considered an asset.

Sales & sales strategy development. Developing a strategy and implementing a marketing plan to achieve personal asset growth as per agreed targets. Driving personal sales activity through your own channels

Sales focused coaching. Honed passion in supporting and implementing sales and mentorship initiatives.

Risk management. Analyzing, preparing, recommending, and approving credit requests within discretionary limit, ensuring applications exhibit quality risk assessment and analysis as well as appropriate pricing.

Collaboration. Seamlessly interacting with Business Banking, Wealth, and other internal partners to drive and improve business referrals across CWB.

Agility. Strong and highly flexible, solid interpersonal and communication skills, that allow one to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Core know-how & experience requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience) with demonstrated & proven abilities (approx. 6 years experience) within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries with directly leadership & coaching experience.
