This role is part of the Group Treasury – Global Cash Management team, that is responsible for reporting and managing cash and centralized collateral reporting for the Bank. The team’s mandate includes intraday liquidity management and strategy, daily cash management, and collateral reporting (financial, regulatory, and management).

The primary functions of Collateral Reporting in Group Treasury are:

  • Building and managing the enterprise-wide collateral MIS: Sources and Uses (CSU) system and leading other SFT initiatives.
  • Monthly production of Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (CDIC) prescribed Schedules measures the Bank’s future cashflows in a resolution scenario.
  • Monitoring of Bank-wide SFT utilization and calculate daily repo netting benefit.
  • Regional SFT-related initiatives and implementations include the UKBR Cash Gap, UKBR Bank Levy, SCI liquidity monitoring, U.S. collateral reporting, etc.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Create and maintain interactive dashboard reports in Power BI.
  • Create BRD, POC, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CSU enhancements.
  • Support the Collateral Sources and Uses (CSU) application.
  • Monitor upstream application changes and perform impact assessment.
  • Raise required change requests while communicating them to IT and downstream users.
  • Review and automate manual processes.
  • Actively participate in automation projects such as Intraday collateral reporting.
  • Provide support to the team as required.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting with programming skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on financial and management regulatory reporting projects.
  • Project planning, risk management, and other project management skills are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI Dax and dashboard creation.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, VBA, and MS Office.
  • Python knowledge is an asset.
  • Prior experience in liquidity management and liquidity regulatory framework is an asset.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
