Purpose

Group Liquidity and Global Cash Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy, stress testing, daily cash management and reporting (financial, regulatory and management).

The Manager, Regulatory Financial Review & U.S Liquidity will be responsible for supporting daily US Liquidity FR2052a production and the production of the monthly enterprise liquidity data reconciliation against EGL. The incumbent will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be:

  • Supporting the daily production of US FR2052a and all necessary manual workarounds,
  • Supporting the Director and Associate Director in the monthly reconciliation of enterprise liquidity data against EGL balances.
  • Managing mapping tables that are consumed by ALRE/DIS/Algo process for both of US Fr2052a and enterprise reporting.
  • Reviewing the net new counterparty for liquidity reporting.
  • Performing monthly reconciliation and analysis of the bank’s liquidity risk position; Researching, following up and resolving identified data gap and source data issues by reaching out to Product Control, GBM Finance, APP and GWRT/ISL teams
  • Mitigating data gaps by providing daily and monthly workarounds to enterprise reporting teams.
  • Providing variance analysis and commentary to management.
  • Working closely with business units and project BAs to investigate identified data gaps in monthly reporting cycle.
  • Assisting in the ongoing enhancements of liquidity reconciliation process and the testing of system changes.
  • Proposing business requirements for solutions to data issues and raise defects with the technology team if necessary.
  • Establishing test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for both of enterprise reporting and US Fr2052a reporting.
  • Keeping abreast with developments in accounting policies concerning Bank’s financial products.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of proper operational procedures.
  • Assisting in responding to regulator or management queries.
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as required

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI
  • A strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
  • Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank’s various systems would be an asset;
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
