About the role

The EMEA Sales Development Manager focuses on:

– Leading a team of inbound and outbound SDR to create qualified opportunities for the sales team
– Training other members of the Sales Development/Business Development team
– Taking on operational and administrative tasks to help the Sales Development/Business Development team perform and exceed expectations
– Being of knowledge and best practices amongst the Sales Development/Business Development team and help to train, onboard, and mentor new SDRs/BDRs with the help of the Sales Enablement team
What You’ll Be Doing…

  • You are responsible for building and developing an internal SDR team by hiring and ramping up high potential individuals and transforming them into high performing SDRs
  • You will be involved into developing a successful strategy to identify new customers
  • You will be hiring new talent and ensure the continuous development and training of your team
  • While you build up the SDR Academy, you will be creating a quality SDR playbook and personalised training and career plans
  • You will implement and analyse KPIs to identify trends and monitor them to ensure monthly goals are met
  • You will work closely with the marketing team to create lead-generation strategies and inbound activity to identify and attract potential new clients
  • By collaborating with the Account Executive team, you ensure an efficient handover of leads and optimisation of pipelines
  • You motivate your team members to go above and beyond and learn new things every day

What You Bring…

  • Relevant experience in leading an inbound and outbound SDR team, ideally in a start-up or scale up environment
  • Experience in building and expanding a sales unit as well as very strong coaching skills
  • Proven track record of hiring and developing early career sales talent
  • Experience in working cross functionally with departments such as People and Talent, Marketing and Account Executives
  • Have excellent communications skills, written, numerical and verbal.
  • Know how to use Salesforce or another common CRM, Outreach/Salesloft
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to approach complex problems with easy and pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to create a motivated and performance driven working culture

What You Have….

  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales management or leadership role, ideally in a high-growth tech start-up
  • Prior experience as an individual contributor
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent holder.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
