Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This position is responsible for supporting the Capital Markets’ supplier risk management activities and will function as the subject matter expert in working with key business partners and centers of governance for overall due diligence activities across RBC Capital Markets.The incumbent will be responsible to facilitate third party risk management, due diligence, monitoring, and compliance related activities. The Supplier Risk Management team leads the platform in driving best practices for the management and oversight of supplier relationships globally, including defining roles, relationships, activities, and tools.What will you do?Supplier Risk Management Assessments (SRMAs)
- Act as a central point of contact for the Business Unit (Supplier Manager), Centers of Governance (CoGs), and Supplier(s)
- Onboard net new suppliers and/or POCs
- Conduct reassessments and ad hoc reviews
- Provide guidance to BU partners regarding the initiation of PARA, Model Risk Review, app code creation, new technology requests, and E-Messaging supplier demos
- Completing required SaaS Shared Responsibilities Assessment, documenting subcontractor controls and gaps, financial and AML reviews.
- Completing Terminations Assessments as required for ending or expired engagements.

- Identify gaps and implement enhancements with current processes and procedures
- Manage or support projects related to supplier risk management activities.
What you need to succeed?
- University Degree
- 3 years minimum experience in supplier risk management highly preferred
- Good level understanding of RBC’s infrastructure services and organization
- Understanding of the Capital Markets organization and products
- Effective collaborator and positive team member with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and consulting skills
- Strong presentation and coaching skills
- Strong planning, analytical & critical thinking, organizational, change management
- Acts with sense of urgency and demonstrates an ability to drive deliverables to competition
