Deloitte is seeking a Manager to join our dynamic team and lead internal and external business development initiatives, thought leadership projects, and client service work.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary and integrated teams, in a hybrid environment, to deliver successful client engagements in all areas of Deloitte’s Sustainability practice. You will be responsible for managing client and stakeholder expectations, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering exceptional project management. In this role, you will work collaboratively with your team to analyze client issues and develop solutions. You will also develop and present presentation materials to clients and the broader marketplace. At Deloitte, we value personal and professional growth. Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and stakeholders and effectively develop Environmental, Social and Governance policies, strategies an supporting initiatives, materiality assessments and operate ESG strategies and programs.
  • 7+ years of experience in sustainability and climate change, with significant emphasis on ESG strategy.
  • 4+ years of experience in a professional services environment leading the delivery of consulting engagements and leading teams through delivery.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective ESG strategies and policies.

Relevant work experience over the prescribed years include the following:

  • ESG materiality assessments, goals, targets and KPIs, implementation roadmaps, incorporation of ESG, corporate and purpose strategies.
  • Advising on reporting and disclosure of sustainability and/or climate risk and performance in annual reports and / or sustainability reports.
  • Establishing sustainability strategies using leading frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.
  • Developing transformation and implementation plans.
  • Development and delivery of related awareness training in ESG and strategy for senior / executive management and / or board of directors, etc.
  • Proven ability and experience to coach, counsel, and guide clients and staff across all levels of an organization.
