The candidate should be a strong team player, have the competencies to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, be able to challenge the status quo and work at improving current processes.Core responsibilitiesCash ManagementPrepare the group’s consolidated cash flow forecasts; strong ability to liaise with different business lines to determine cash needs and availabilityManage liquidity; oversee wire transfers, special transactions, foreign currency needs, intercompany loans etc.Coordinate with the banking and AR/AP teams for various payment and bank account related undertakingsMaintain, renew, modify letters of credit and credit facilities; monitor covenants, complete and file quarterly compliance reportsFinancingMaintain a robust financing plan to account for liquidity needs and liability maturitiesManage short term debt financing needs (commercial paper, credit facility, term loans etc.)Support reporting and Investor Relations teams in public disclosures related to treasury itemsBank relationshipsMaintain relationships with syndicate banksBenchmark bank syndication performanceAnalyse new ideas and strategies proposed by banksDerivatives & otherDevelop and maintain forecast by currency to mitigate against foreign currency exposureMonitor and prepare financial statement and board reports relating to currency exposure.EducationBachelor’s degree in finance, Administration or AccountingSkills required:Strong Treasury experience (10yrs)Strong knowledge of cash management activitiesStrong knowledge of accounting ratiosBilingual: French and English; for candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the countryNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada#LI-HybridWhat we offerWorking here means you’ll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
