Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will lead a team of specialized Trade Processing Administrators to ensure all Investor Services Clients day-to-day trade processing obligations are being managed effectively. The primary focus is directed towards timely processing of trades, along with collaborating with Trade Representative’s and Client Managers towards maintaining high STE/STP standards.You will manage and lead quality initiatives in an effort to enhance the service we provide to our clients, through communication with internal teams. In addition, you will establish and implement updates to processes & controls in order to maintain the integrity of the groups functions and maintain the high level of standard expected by our clients. Furthermore, you will need to ensure all client deliverables are met; implement client specific requirements, and continuously strive for increased automation.What will you do?
- Set goals, provide regular performance feedback and ensure development plans in place for all employees.
- Foster an environment of continuous development by supporting formal learning, increased coaching, and in-role learning activities (cross-training).
- Improve employee engagement and focus on themes identified from the latest Employee Opinion Survey.
- Effective utilization of FTE resources towards maintaining a self-supporting Unit to effectively cover for scheduled and unscheduled staffing requirements & volume swings.
- Ensure error free trade management of all designated and supported trade processing activities within the team.
- Reviews all direct report DOP’s to ensure desk effectiveness and updates Policies & Procedures (PPL) on their respective due-dates.
- Champion the drive towards and maintaining the focus on STE & STP results.
- Will participate in internal working groups/projects to enhance the services we provide to our clients.
- Provide backup/support to other managers within the team.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- 5-7 years of people leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- College diploma or post graduate degree
Nice-to-have
- Understanding of Investor Services operations
- Understanding of Trust/SMAC/MVP
- Project Management experience
