Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This is a challenging key role within the WM Platform Financial Control team. You will be a leading part of the team that ensures that appropriate controls and processes are in place to support the accuracy and completeness of WM balance sheet and income statement, and provide accounting interpretation, guidance and advice on transactions as they arise.What you will do?Support the month end close process by posting journal entries, closely monitoring and reviewing WM AUA – AUM, Balance Sheet, PCL and management taxesWork closely with Compensation COE team and act as single point of contact within WM finance team on global incentive programs (STI and non STI programs) accruals. Co-ordinate and validate accruals for each LOB on a quarterly basis. Support the year-end reconciliations to actual payouts as neededResponsible to deliver a number of financial & management reporting deliverables, including but not limited to MD&A, note disclosures and regulatory reportingReview accounting policy issues and liaise with Accounting Policy Group to determine appropriate accounting treatments.
