Job description

Key Responsibilities:Service Delivery * Responsible for monitoring and executing continuous improvement projects as assigned to increase productivity, maximise profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions standards.
  • Implement and follow up on all lean improvements and most importantly sustain results.
  • Identify and evaluate equipment to support lean initiatives and manufacturing engineering project.
  • Optimise machine processes to reach product quality and efficiency
  • Optimise workflow and designs for the various cells.
  • Track and execute cost reduction for process improvements.
  • Responsible for audit completion and follow up for sustainability and cost efficiency.
  • Create data capture systems to determine efficiencies across the various areas of the site.
  • Identify and implement suitable standards applicable from Sales Order through to Plant commissioning.
  • Identify bottlenecks within the manufacturing process and engage best practice Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce the issues.
  • Develop Value Stream Maps.
  • Review and develop process documentation and Safe Operating Procedures.
  • In conjunction with the engineering team, implement and monitor the standard operating process within the Design Departments.
  • Co-ordinate and lead time studies to aid in accurate production planning.
  • Identify and lead the Kaizen Projects.
  • Fault Trend Analysis with implementation of Corrective and Preventative Actions closure.

  • Third level qualification in Engineering
  • Proven experience of executing lean improvement and/or six sigma projects
  • Experience working within a manufacturing engineering environment

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of lean methodologies
