You will be a strategic contributor to the organization as the expert of the coffee market (machine and coffee) at all company levels for both B2C and B2B multifunctional teams. You will integrate, lead and analyse data and analytical tools from multiple sources (internal and external) to provide recommendations on current and future trends, on the main players in the industry, and on opportunities for growth.A day in the life of a Manager, Market Insights and Business Strategy:

  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights to guide decision-making processes, enabling accurate action plans and identifying new opportunities or business threats.
  • Lead discussions and offer recommendations on portfolio management, innovation, and strategic decisions for annual plans.
  • Collect, combine, and analyze external and internal data to track performance, market trends, and consumer insights.
  • Update and analyze dashboards to monitor machine and coffee performance.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on market categories, regions, and sales channels.
  • Incorporate macro-economic indicators to provide visibility on Nespresso’s performance.
  • Offer analysis and recommendations for new business opportunities and profitability optimization.
  • Build competitive market intelligence knowledge of the Canadian coffee industry

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French is required for this position. The role involves frequent and complex collaboration with collaborators across the Canadian market and/or internationally. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in English to effectively perform the tasks associated with the job.
  • University degree in Business Intelligence/Marketing/Retail Management.
  • 7+ years experience in market intelligence / marketing analytics / sales analysis
  • Strong expertise in Nielsen Answers & panels.
  • Familiar with reporting and dashboard software (Power BI / Tableau).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in people management
  • Ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels and functions of an organization.
  • Experience in budget management and negotiation with suppliers
