TalentWorld is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for a manufacturing facility in Barrie. This person has experience in a wide range of marketing functions including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. You are an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Marketing Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update marketing materials, content on company website and social media platforms, and promotional materials for trade shows/conferences and plant tours (e.g., branded items, videos, handouts, etc.)
  • Responsible for obtaining quotes, design drafts, samples etc., placing orders, organization and storage of these items, and for keeping up to date inventory records.
  • Set-up/attend tradeshows and conferences as required. Assist with plant tours as required – setup room, create name tags, develop and update slideshows, etc.
  • Capture photos and videos of selected projects, plant processes, etc., ensuring all business areas are covered – coordinate any 3rd party work that is required
  • Mailouts to customers, consultants, etc.
  • Plan and coordinate company events (e.g., Christmas Party)
  • Administrative duties for company affiliated associations (ensure memberships are paid and up to date)
  • Assist with various tasks as requiredMarketing Communications Coordinator Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • At least 2 years of related experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Solid understanding of effective marketing techniques
  • Clear and effective communicator with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills that enable you to adhere to strict deadlinesEmployment Details:
  • Direct hire, Permanent, Full-time
  • In-office, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: $60000 – $75000 per year, DOE
